How do I place an order?
Use the form on the Contact Us link or email us using information [at] serenida.com with the style name and quantity. Your order will be confirmed within 48 hours, along with payment options and instructions.

What payment methods do you accept?
Direct Bank Deposits (preferred) / Australia Post Money Order
For Australian customers, we accept Direct Bank Deposits and Australia Post Money Order. You will be sent an email with further instructions on how to pay with these methods if you checked out and choose one of the above methods.
What currency are the prices in?
All prices listed on this site as in Australian dollars.
How much do the headpieces and jewellery cost?
Prices vary depending on the labour and materials involved. Hairpins start from $25 each, headpieces from $88 and jewellery from $65 onwards.
How long does it take to make my order?
Each item is made individually for you, once your order has been confirmed and payment is received. We endeavour to make and ship the item to you within 2 weeks. In exceptional circumstances, special materials may need to be obtained to make your order. We will advise the approximate lead times with obtaining materials required for your order when we send you a confirmation email for your order.

Can you custom design something for me?
If you don't see anything you want, please feel free to email us using information [at] serenida.com. We would be pleased to work with you to create something to suit the look you are after. Send us pictures of your ideas – flowers, dresses, shoes - and we are happy to provide suggestions.
Can you match colours to my dress?
We would be happy to match the materials we use, to a fabric swatch you provide.
Can I make changes to the standard design?
Absolutely! We're always happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible at no additional charge. These alterations may include:
- Substituting of pearls for crystals or rhinestones, and vice versa.
- Modifying the size of the handmade flowers in the headpiece.
- Lengthening or shortening of necklaces and bracelets, up to 5 cm.
You can specify what you would like to change when you place an order.
What materials do you use in your designs?
We use the finest materials available for our products. Each of our headpieces and jewellery is made with components like Swarovski crystals and pearls and tarnish resistant wire. We also use Czech glass beads and freshwater pearls in some of our designs. All our flowers are hand made using silk organza or silk duchesse satin.
Can I wear a veil with one of the headpieces?
Absolutely. Please advise us if you plan to wear a veil with your headpiece. We may be able to position the different pieces in the headpiece to best suit the placement of the veil.
What kind of headpiece will suit my hairstyle?
Alice bands are especially gorgeous with very short hairstyles. Worn hair down with long hair, an alice band can add a touch of 50's swing or 20's flapper chic!
Most of our headpieces are attached to haircombs or hairclips. They can be worn with an updo, a half-up-half-down style or just worn on one side of the head in a hair-down style. Some of our headpieces are designed to be wrapped around a low chignon.
Our hairpin pieces can be worn individually or arranged in a small cluster around a chignon to create a gorgeous backpiece.

How do I secure the headpiece?
Your hairdresser will be able to attach your headpiece securely. A trick which Las Vegas showgirls use to secure their head dresses is to form a cross (in the shape of an 'X'). Insert the hair comb into the 'X' and it will be secure enough for any dance moves!
All our hairpins are attached to hair prongs, which are bendable. Bend the prongs to form a 'W' shape, then insert into your hair.
How do I care for my headpiece?
Your headpiece features genuine Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls (in some designs). It should be treated with the same care as a genuine freshwater necklace. Take care of your headpiece around chemicals – including hairspray and perfume. Set your hair with the final spray of hairspray before setting the headpiece in your hair. Do not spray any perfume directly onto your headpiece or jewellery.
Store your headpiece and jewellery in a cool, dry place. Do not use any harsh chemicals, simply buff with a silver cleaning cloth.
For long term storage, we recommend you seek advice from an archival specialist. The boxes in which we ship our items to you are not guaranteed to be acid-free.

How much does shipping cost?
The weight of your order and the postage option you choose determine shipping costs. For Australian orders, the postage options are:
- Standard Post – from AUD6.50 (not insured)
- Express Post – from AUD10.00 (not insured)
- Registered Post – from AUD9.00 (insured up to the value of $100)
We highly recommend the use of registered post, as we are not liable for any loss or damage incurred during shipping.

How long will my package take to get to me?
Within Australia
We use Australia Post for shipping, ensuring that your products arrive on time, every time. Please allow 1-6 working days for standard and registered post; and 1- 3 working days for Express Post.
What is your returns policy?
We will happily refund or exchange an item under the conditions defined in Australian statute. Prior to your order being made, you will receive a confirmation email with descriptions or sketches of the item(s) you have ordered. Construction will only begin once a response is received from you to proceed with the order, and payment has been received.
Unfortunately, we cannot exchange or refund if you change your mind as each piece of jewellery or headpiece is made especially for you.
How do I return an item?
The items must be returned to us in original packaging within 14 days. Your item will be refunded as soon as the products are received. Postage will be the responsibility of the returning party.
Please Note: Original shipping charges are not refunded in the case of a return, unless the return is a result of our error.
What is your privacy policy?
We take your privacy seriously – the personal details you provide to Serenida are considered private and confidential. We will not use any personal information you provide us for any other purpose other than processing your order. Without your explicit consent, we will not intentionally pass on any information to a third party.
